Our mission is to inspire others to travel while creating a positive impact on the communities they visit.
Range of Motion Project
We are undertaking the trip as a way to raise awareness and funds for the Range of Motion Project or ROMP (www.rompglobal.org). ROMP is an incredible non-profit that empowers amputees to achieve the impossible by providing access to prosthetics that they would not otherwise have access to. ROMP works with amputee athletes by sponsoring and organizing incredible expeditions around to world to show that with access to the right technology, there is no summit too far. Along the way, we will be joining a group of these athletes and amputees to assist on their summit of Mt. Cotopaxi in Ecuador (19,347 ft.). Our goal is to raise awareness, and money, that will go directly to providing access to prosthetic limbs, assistance, support, and experiences for disabled athletes around the world.
Our goal is to raise upwards of $50,000 for ROMP over the next 8 months. This is enough for ROMP to directly help over 50 amputees get the care they need to be mobile again. We hope that you will support our ambitious goal by making a donation and sharing our story with others.
“If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
